Well so far the first day was all about traveling
They were delayed 1 hr at airport due to weather conditions elsewhere, so then making them run through the airport at Toronto to catch their next flight. A long 6 hr flight to Frankfurt, which proceeded with a lot of running around, looking for buses, which hadn't arrived yet. So they ventured out on an hour drive for lunch and back to airport to catch the bus. Then transfering to Homburg and then finally to their hotel in Schlossberg, which Jason managed to get some rest before being whisked off to supper 1/2 an hr away. The beginning has been tiring, but very exciting with all the spectacular scenery.
Today they are off to Zweibrucken to tour the John Deere plant all day.
He quotes that everyone, especially his mom & dad should try to get out there for holidays it's beautiful.
Keep you updated on his trip to Germany

I'm so excited about the fact you are updating on his trip! I've always wanted to go to Germany some day.
By the way, we missed you yesterday at Anemone's party, but look forward to seeing you again sometime soon, once Jason is home! Anemone burned her fingers on her birthday candles, but then was soon diving into her chocolate cupcake without abandon!
Yes he has no internet there otherwise he would of put pics up already and I'm sure had a lot more to tell, I think tomorrow they are transferring to another hotel(Winzergarten, Grosskaribach) so maybe they will have there.
Sorry I missed it, but Jason really wanted to bring her something on her first birthday, so yeah we will see you as soon as he is back.
Aww yes the excitement takes away all pain, that's great...
Well haven't heard from Jason, so not much to update you on, except his itinerary left behind. So as far as I know they visited the i-park, and the biogas plant yesterday, today they are scheduled on a factory tour, the museum, Forum hall, & JD shop in Mannheim and that would be the end of the program. Tomorrow they transfer to Heidelberg to tour the city and visit of the castle, then they have 5 hrs of free time(how nice is that) :) Then off to the Holiday Inn in Frankfurt for the nite and depart Friday morning.
So, that will conclude my report on Jason's trip to Germany until his return which he will have more to captivate your interest.
This is Susan reporting from our home in Landmark
Thank you...:D
