Let's Make It Blog Official...
Well, since no one else has made the anouncement on the blog I guess I will. Ryan and I are expecting and are just about through the first trimester (11 weeks) and feeling good. Our due date is August 19th. I'm thinking this will be a hot summer. If our family plans on going to the zoo this summer we should probably not pick the hottest day of the year this time...maybe in spring sometime?...maybe for celebration of some of those spring b-days...hmmm? Just an idea. So I just wanted to make the announecement official on the blog...although I think that everyone who reads this blog already knows. Oh well...it's still very exciting news to us so we want to keep on sharing it!

Just Incase....Love ya guys

One day a woman's husband died, and on that clear, cold morning, in the warmth of their bedroom,
The wife was struck with the pain of learning that
Sometimes there isn't any more
No more hugs, no more special moments to
Celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat,
No more 'just one minute.'
Sometimes, what we care about the most gets all used up and goes away, never to return before we can say good-bye,
Say 'I LOVE YOU'
So while we have it, it's best we love it, care for it, fix it when it's
Broken and heal it when it's sick.
This is true for marriage ... And old cars
. And children with bad report cards, and dogs with bad hips, and aging parents and grandparents.
We keep them because they are worth it,
Because we are worth it.
Some things we keep -- like a best friend who moved away or a
Classmate we grew up with.
There are just some things that make us happy, no matter what.
Life is important, like people we know who are special.
And so, we keep them close!
I was thinking...I could die today, tomorrow or next week,
And I wondered if
I had any wounds needing to be healed,
Friendships that needed rekindling or
Three words needing to be said.
Let every one of your friends know you love them.
Even if you think they don't love you back,
You would be amazed at what those three little words and
A smile can do.
And just in case GOD calls me home
I LOVE YA!!!
Live today to the fullest, because tomorrow is not promised.

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will.
You will have your heart broken probably more than once and
it's harder every time.
You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.
You'll fight with your best friend.
You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.
You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love.
So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never
been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.

TOO CUTE...

The Middle Wife
By an Anonymous 2nd grade teacher
I've been teaching now for about fifteen years.
I have two kids myself, but the best birth story
I know is the one I saw in my own second-grade classroom a few
years back
When I was a kid, I loved show-and-tell.
So I always have a few sessions with my students.
It helps them get over shyness and usually, show-and-tell is pretty
tame.
Kids bring in pet turtles, model airplanes, pictures of fish they
catch, stuff like that.
And I never, ever place any boundaries or limitations on them.
If they want to lug it to school and talk about it, they're welcome
Well, one day this little girl, Erica, a very bright, very outgoing
kid, takes her turn and waddles up to the front of the class with a pillow stuffed under her sweater.
She holds up a snapshot of an infant.
"This is Luke, my baby brother, and I'm going to tell you about his
birthday.
First, Mom and Dad made him as a symbol of their love, and then
Dad put a seed in my Mom's stomach, and Luke grew in there.
He ate for nine months through an umbrella cord."
She's standing there with her hands on the pillow, and
I'm trying not to laugh and wishing I had my camcorder with me.
The kids are watching her in amazement.
"Then, about two Saturdays ago, my Mom starts saying
and going, 'Oh, oh, oh!' Erica puts a hand behind her back and
groans.
She walked around the house for, like an hour, 'Oh, oh, oh!
Now the kid's doing this hysterical duck walk, holding her back and groaning
"My Dad called the middle wife
She delivers babies, but she doesn't have a sign on the car like the Domino's man."
"They got my Mom to lie down in bed like this.
“Then Erica lies down with her back against the wall.
"And then, pop! My Mom had this bag of water she kept in there in
case he got thirsty, and it just blew up and spilled all over the bed,
like psshhheew!
“This kid has her legs spread and with her little hands
are miming water flowing away. It was too much!
"Then the middle wife starts saying 'push, push, and breathe,
breathe.'"
They started counting, but never even got past ten."
"Then, all of a sudden, out comes my brother.
He was covered in yucky stuff, they all said was from Mom's
play-center! , so there must be a lot of stuff inside there"
Then Erica stood up, took a big theatrical bow
and returned to her seat.
I'm sure I applauded the loudest.
Ever since then, if it's show-and-tell day,
I bring my camcorder, just in case another Erica comes along.

A little fashion show featuring Anemone...
Here is Anemone wearing the dress that my dad bought for me after I was born. I think it might actually fit her in summer time which would be cute. She was grumpy when I put it on her!

Cutie pie in her Christmas ensemble! Look at those tiny legs and feet! Thanks Jason and Susan for this little number.

See you all on Sunday! I'm looking forward to it!
