Father's Day
Just wondering when we could have father's day. The actual Father's Day weekend is out for this family (June 15-17), and the weekend after that Ryan and I are in GrandForks (June22-24). So maybe Sunday June 10th? Does that work for everyone else?
The 10th works for us, I think. I know that is Jonathan's commissioning service at the new church. But, no more evening service. Yeah!!!! I do need to check with Jonathan to make sure there is nothing else that day. I start my nights rotation that evening.
Okay, hold off on the 10th for a little while now. We're having a stag for Trish from the 9th - 10th. We're staying overnight at a hotel and I'm not sure what we're dong the next day. Let me get back to everyone on that.
Unfortunatly, I am working days on June 30th. But, it could still work. On June 10 I have to work that night. So, either way I'll be working. but, it still would work.
At 4:00, takes me about 15-20min to get home, and then I shower and come over. The soonest I could get to mom and dad's would be 5:30. Maybe the 10th would be better.
So, are we drawing the line in the sand and saying Sunday the 10th?
Vince has a football game at 3pm, so if he went to that we could be out by 5pm, but I'm not sure if he has to go to it. I'd prefer to come out earlier.... Vincent?
Works for Jason and Susan on Sunday aswell. Now we just need to know if mom and dad can make it. Hello??? Dad is the reason for the party so he should be there I think. We're thinking of having an early supper. Maybe everyone can come out after lunch when they can? Should we talk about the menu? Mom can you maybe marinate some steak? Us girls can take care of the rest right? First come first serve. I'll bring a salad.

Also, I just found out that there is a church BBQ after church on that sunday.
Do you know how long that will be? All afernoon? That Sunday works for us now.

our church bbq ends at around 2:30-3:00 on sunday so we're good!!
I can definitely BBQ steaks, plus I will do the potatoes. It suits us just fine!! We are looking forward to it!
