So, Kim and I are officially paying to be in the army. That's right, the army. Yikes! Yup, it was all blood, sweat, and tears. "50 push ups!" is what we heard everytime we did something wrong. "Run 2 miles" everytime a word came out of our mouths when the coach was talking.
Okay so maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but are you intrigued? Some of this is true. We got assessed yesterday by a guy who has served in the Scottish military for a number of years. He looked at everything from our physical fitness, to our skill level, to our attitude, and even how we stood (which we only found out half way through the practice). It wasn't actually that bad cause we got lot's of breaks (which we were probably assessed on now that I think of it). Once everyone has been assessed on the team we will meet with the coach individually and talk about our strengths/weaknesses. I guess this is what it means to play on a "fun" soccer team. Ha!! Ha!! You all should come watch sometime.
Oh, and by the way, congrats to Kimberly who did an amazing job yesterday. She worked so hard...even to the point of woosiness. She is a strong and fast defensive player who is a dominant part of the team. Way to be hard core!

That sounds good and bad at the same time! And not so "fun" at all. Yeesh. Do you think this will help with the attitude problems?
Yup, I think it will help with the attitudes cause those were being assessed too. But, we will only reallly find out when he has assessed everyone and meets with all of us.
